Position Overview
Core Of The Heart is seeking an experienced YouTube long-form video editor to join their content team. You will be responsible for editing vlogs and docu-series for @JohnnyChangLive, transforming raw footage into compelling narrative-driven content that serves as a discipleship tool.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit 4-8 long-form YouTube videos per month (vlogs, docu-series, interviews) from raw footage to final export
- Maintain consistent quality and meet all deadlines without requiring oversight
- Build and maintain a repeatable workflow using ClickUp and Google Drive
- Own the full post-production pipeline from raw footage to published video
- Serve the story through your edit rather than prioritizing technical showmanship
- Collaborate within a structured production system and provide creative direction that enhances storytelling
Requirements
- Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content and docu-series
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
- Proficiency with video editing software and project management tools
- Strong understanding of narrative pacing and storytelling through video
- Portfolio or receipts showing work at the required level
- Ability to work remotely with potential Los Angeles bonus location
