An Upwork client is looking for a YouTube Podcast Editing Expert who can produce compelling, platform-optimised video podcast content. This role is suited to an editor with a strong understanding of both audio quality and visual presentation for YouTube audiences.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with talking-head footage, multi-camera setups, and podcast-style content, delivering engaging video episodes that perform well on YouTube.
- Edit raw video podcast footage into polished YouTube-ready episodes
- Sync audio and video tracks, clean up audio quality
- Add graphics, lower thirds, chapter markers, and transitions
- Create short-form clips or highlight reels for social media promotion
- Optimise video pacing and engagement for YouTube viewer retention
- Collaborate with the host on visual style and branding guidelines
Required skills include proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Experience with YouTube content strategy and knowledge of podcast production workflows are strong advantages. A portfolio demonstrating previous YouTube podcast editing work is essential.
