About the Role

Golden Hippo® is seeking a YouTube/Podcast/PR Intern to optimize, organize, and own the day-to-day operations of the Dr. Gundry Podcast and Forever Young YouTube channels. This is a part-time internship running from September 14th through December 10th, requiring 25-29 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize and manage the Dr. Gundry Podcast and Forever Young YouTube channels
  • Provide directorial assistance to freelance editing team to produce four videos per week
  • Review 3-4 YouTube videos weekly in collaboration with editing team
  • Curate Instagram and TikTok clips from podcast content
  • Update and maintain podcast schedule calendar as it pertains to YouTube scheduling
  • Write podcast advertisements
  • Curate ‘mash-up’ episodes combining 3-4 videos on the same topic
  • Support additional PR and marketing projects as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Strong eye for curating attention-grabbing, engaging content
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities
  • Self-motivated and deadline-driven work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Some experience or knowledge of YouTube (personal experience acceptable)
  • High school diploma minimum; undergraduate coursework in Communications, Broadcasting, Film, or Journalism preferred

Desired Skills

  • Experience producing reels for Instagram
