Mount Eerie: Live at KCSB-FM

Phil Elverum of Mount Eerie and The Microphones describes his music as “stubbornly DIY to the bone.” His diverse, storied discography parallels KCSB’s commitment to non-commerciality and experimentation. On February 19th, 2026, Mount Eerie stopped by the station to play an acoustic set of songs stretching across multiple decades of his career. A small audience of KCSB staff and volunteers were in attendance. The set aired the next day on a special fund drive episode of LIVE! at KCSB.
