Who Should Apply?
The programme welcomes UK-based professionals with more than five years of experience working across all areas of audio—from production and journalism to technology, craft, commercial roles, and support positions. Whether you’re a podcaster, broadcast engineer, sound designer, or audio entrepreneur, if you’re looking to accelerate your career trajectory, this programme is designed with you in mind.
What Does the Programme Include?
Selected mentees receive six hours of one-to-one mentoring with a senior industry leader, alongside structured leadership workshops and Action Learning Sets. The programme isn’t just about individual coaching—it’s about building lasting connections.
Participants meet in person four times during the six-month run for networking events and leadership workshops. The programme creates genuine opportunities to connect with mentors, fellow mentees, and established industry leaders. Additional benefits include guest passes to The Podcast Show and a celebratory graduation ceremony marking the completion of your journey and the beginning of your next career chapter.
Meet This Year’s Mentors

Key Dates and Membership Requirements
The application deadline is Monday, November 2, 2026 at 10am. Interviews will take place between November 30 and December 11, with the programme running from February to July 2027.
While you don’t need to be an Audio Academy Member when applying, successful candidates must become Members to participate. Membership costs £48 per year, though it’s free for employees of Audio Academy Patrons.
