Eurowaves Celebrates International Podcast Day with Best Picks and Major Giveaway

As International Podcast Day approaches, Eurowaves, the biweekly newsletter dedicated to European podcasting, is launching two major initiatives to celebrate the medium and engage its thriving community: a curated list of the best European podcasts of 2026 so far, and a subscriber survey with significant prizes.

A Spotlight on European Storytelling

Eurowaves is publishing a comprehensive “Best of European Podcasts 2026 (So Far)” list built from recommendations by more than 25 industry contributors across Europe. As shown in the accompanying imagery, the list celebrates diverse European voices and stories—featuring podcasts made by European creators, shows telling European narratives, and productions from creators based throughout the continent.

“European podcasting deserves its own spotlight on International Podcast Day,” said Andreea Coscai, Founder and Writer at Eurowaves. “It’s a global celebration that gives the opportunity to local storytelling and voices to shine. This curation serves as a reminder for podcasters everywhere to keep an eye out beyond their borders for inspiration.”

The list crosses languages, borders, and formats, serving as a valuable discovery tool for listeners seeking their next favorite show. It represents the breadth and depth of podcast production happening across Europe today.

Enter to Win Premium Podcast Tools

Alongside the curated list, Eurowaves is running a subscriber survey designed to better understand the community’s profile and evolving needs. The survey opened immediately and runs through October 15, 2026. Every participant is automatically entered into a random drawing, with winners announced in the October 15 issue.

The giveaway, as illustrated in the campaign graphic below, features premium prizes sponsored by three industry leaders:

  • One year of Captivate Personal, plus five hours of Captivate Assistant: Captivate is built for growth-focused podcasters, combining hosting, distribution, IAB-certified analytics, marketing, monetization, and workflow tools in a single platform.
  • A one-year Beamly subscription: Beamly is an all-in-one podcast platform offering hosting, branded website creation, distribution to major platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify, and 0% platform-fee monetization through memberships, private feeds, and digital products.
  • 90 days of Convia Studio Professional: Convia Studio transforms podcast recordings into coordinated, on-voice campaigns across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more—eliminating the copy-paste marathon of manual social distribution.

As an added bonus, every survey participant receives 30 days free on any Convia plan—double the standard trial period—regardless of whether they win the main prizes.
