I’ve been writing and researching professionally for more than nine years, and a lot of my work has involved taking information that already exists and turning it into something people can actually read and use.
That’s also what I do with podcasts. An episode might be an hour-long conversation, but there are usually several good pieces of content within it. A useful idea can become a blog post. A strong part of the conversation can work as a social post or promotional snippet. The rest might simply need to be organized into clear, useful show notes.
I don’t try to make every piece sound like it came from the same content machine. I pay attention to how the host or guest actually speaks, what they are trying to communicate, and who they are speaking to. The finished content should still feel connected to the original conversation, just in a form that is easier to share, search, and come back to later.
If you’re already putting time into creating good podcast episodes, I can help you get more mileage out of the work you’ve already done.
