Pocket Casts, the free podcast listening platform, launched its Apple TV application July 27, bringing full podcast functionality to television screens and extending its cross-device synchronization ecosystem to living rooms across the Apple TV user base.
The application allows users to access their Pocket Casts library, playback history and Up Next queue directly on Apple TV, maintaining seamless playback continuity across smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, cars, web browsers and desktop applications. Pocket Casts said Android TV support is coming soon. The app is available free to all existing and new users, consistent with the platform’s free-to-use model across all supported devices.
