Notes on the music:
The audio needed to convey the weight of the emotion in the acting without getting in the way. I wanted to hear the nostalgia, coupled with the slipping away of time, and that was the deciding factor in the instrumentation. Some of the organic elements keep it grounded like a father, while the dramatic synths, EDM plucks blended with dulcimers, and tonal shifts shine light for our younger hero’s coming of age. Every detail, from the weight of the horses running to the roar of the engine, feeds the energy in the story without becoming the central focus.
