About Matt

An award-winning producer, editor, and sound designer, I’ve made podcasts for ESPN, The New York Times, Slate, Stitcher, Vice, Vox, WNYC, and others, including shows like “30 for 30,” “Land of the Giants,” “Sway with Kara Swisher,” and “Freakonomics Radio.”

I’ve taught science journalism in print and audio at Brown University, sound design at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies, and narrative audio at Maine College of Art & Design.

Before working in audio I was a print journalist, and much of my podcast work involves working with print reporters to tell their stories in a new medium.
