“Land of the Giants: The Twitter Fantasy” tracks the founding, rise, and sudden fall of Twitter. From a simple text-based app designed to find your friends on a night out to a culture-shaping colossus, Twitter defined the 2010s and early 2020s. But it turns out that so many of the popular narratives about Twitter were always wrong.
As senior producer for this project, I worked with hosts Peter Kafka and Lauren Goode to provide a deeply reported narrative series about a fascinatingly flawed tech giant. I helped organize the series, produced interviews, wrote and edited scripts, and led mix notes.
