Red Seat Ventures brings Barometer brand-suitability targeting into its Speakeasy platform

Red Seat Ventures has partnered with contextual-targeting firm Barometer to build its brand-suitability and episode-level targeting into Speakeasy, RSV’s own hosting, distribution and monetisation platform.

By wiring Barometer’s third-party contextual analysis directly into Speakeasy, Red Seat Ventures says advertisers will be able to target content at the individual-episode level across its audio portfolio, rather than only by show. The companies frame it as a way to open up more advertising in high-engagement, specialised genres while giving brands more control over where their ads run.

The partnership was announced under embargo on 9 September.
